Welcome
As your hosts for your stay at Le Reposoir we will endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible.  Below you will find information regarding the accommodation and facilities available.

During your stay, we would really value you taking the time to  leave a personal testimony in our visitors book to encourage us and other visitors of what God has done and indeed is doing in your life.

Location:

Le Reposoir is situated in the Cotes-d'Amor region of Northern Brittany, just outside the village of Plumaugat.
Côtes-d'Armor lies on the North coast of Brittany. It has a rugged coastline with steep cliffs and is dotted with quaint, medieval towns.  Well worth a visit is St Malo, a port town enclosed within its own walls, with stunning beaches, scenery, restaurants (famous for its sea food) and shopping.  Close  by too is Dinan, which sits on the river Rance with its cobbled streets and medieval houses  clustered together behind ramparts.  Whilst there ensure you taste the wonderful traditional Breton cuisine of Crepes and savoury Gallettes.  40 minutes south is the city of Rennes, the capital of Brittany.  It provides a mixture of both old and modern, and of course extensive shopping outlets.
Approximately an hours drive is the Abbey of Mont St Michel
(named after the arch-angel St. Michael)   Construction of the original abbey took more than 500 years, from 1017 to 1521, it can only be reached at low tide and is the second most visited place in France!   The Normandy beaches and associated places of interest can be reached within a two hour drive.
If its the Eiffel Tower and the
Arc de Triomphe you wish to see then  Paris is only 2.5hr train ride from Rennes on the TGV (fast train).

For those that wish to enjoy a slightly less energetic break, Le Reposoir enjoys the tranquillity of the French countryside. There are many local trails you can choose to stroll along.  Maybe find a quiet spot along the banks of the River Rance situated only 100 metres away and catch a Trout for tea! OR simply pick a book from the many at hand and relax in front of the log fire.

Le Reposoir is situated in a quiet countryside location which is ideal for a retreat away from it all.  Transport links and shopping facilities however are not on the doorstep and therefore we suggest you hire a car when arriving from overseas.

We do hope that you will allow plenty of time to rest, pray, read and reflect on God's will in your lives so that you leave Le Reposoir spiritually and physically restored. - Le Reposoir is here for you to come rest and spend time with God - it is not a gite, and we do not recommend more than 1 family staying at any one time.
